This Privacy Policy explains how Ceke ("Ceke," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Ceke iOS app. Ceke is designed primarily as a local, on-device photo receipt experience.
01 / Quick Summary
Ceke lets you select photos from your device and turn them into fictional point-of-sale receipt records. In the current app design, selected photos and generated receipt records are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a Ceke account system, cloud sync service, advertising profile, or developer-hosted analytics service for the app experience.
02 / Information Ceke Handles
The app may handle the following categories of information:
- Selected photos. Photos you choose from the iOS photo picker or photo library are imported into the app experience.
- Generated local receipt records. Ceke may create generated SKUs, receipt timestamps, image dimensions, file-size based "net weight," material profile labels, authentication-style codes, printed status, decoded status, color-revealed status, and related local metadata.
- Local coin balance and unlock state. Ceke stores your local consumable coin balance and whether a local receipt record has been decoded, printed, or color revealed.
- Purchase events handled through Apple StoreKit. When you buy a consumable coin pack, Apple processes payment information. The app receives transaction status and product information needed to credit coins.
- Device permission status. Ceke may request access to photos and may display Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission prompt. The current app experience does not require a Ceke account.
- Connectivity and web loading. The app may contact Apple services for platform behavior, StoreKit, or connectivity checks, and may load this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement in a web view.
- Support communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message.
03 / How Information Is Used
Ceke uses information to provide and maintain the app experience, including stocking photos into local inventory, generating fictional SKUs and receipt metadata, displaying printed receipt rolls, saving local unlock state, processing coin deductions after confirmation, crediting consumable coin purchases, troubleshooting issues, responding to support requests, and complying with legal, platform, and App Store requirements.
We do not sell your selected photos. We do not use selected photos to train machine learning models. We do not operate a developer-hosted social feed, account profile, or public upload system for your photos.
05 / Storage and Retention
Selected photos imported into Ceke are stored in the app's local storage area, and receipt metadata is stored locally on the device. Local app records remain until you delete them through available app controls, delete the app, clear app data, or the operating system removes local cache data. Because Ceke does not provide cloud backup or account sync, local data may not be recoverable after deletion or device failure.
Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, improve support, or comply with legal obligations.
06 / Your Choices and Controls
- You choose which photos to import into Ceke.
- You can manage photo permissions and tracking permission choices in iOS Settings.
- You can delete local app data by using available app controls where provided, or by deleting the app from your device.
- You can contact us to ask privacy questions or request help at support@ceke-register.com.
- Apple account, payment, refund, and App Store privacy controls are managed through Apple services and your Apple Account settings.
07 / Children
Ceke is not directed to children under 13, or to the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support communications, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
08 / Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information handled by the app. However, no device, app, network, email system, or storage method is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device, passcode, Apple Account, backups, and any photos you choose to import.
09 / Regional Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or receive information about certain personal data. Because Ceke is primarily local and does not provide a Ceke account system, many requests can be handled directly on your device by deleting app data or the app. For questions, contact us at the email below.
10 / Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this page or made available through the app. The "Effective Date" above indicates when the current version became effective. Your continued use of Ceke after changes become effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
